The problem of polymers recycling is not only popular but also actual nowadays. In our country it is not being solved actively enough: there are no appropriate laws, few domestic developments and recycling equipment producers. "PLASTIKS" magazine has always been paying much attention to these problems in its columns.
But still we consider it not enough and, as communication live can hardly be overestimated, we decided to organize an annual conference devoted to polymers recycling.
The conference goal is to unite polymers processors, recycling equipment producers, representatives of science and government, ecologists, representatives of rubbish-processing organizations for discussing these vital problems and exchanging experience.
Basic problems discussed at the conferences:
- Polymer materials recycling in Russia nowadays; - New recycling technologies; - Modifying additives use; - Modern equipment for plastics recycling; - Spheres of recycled polymer materials application; - Experience of domestic and foreign manufactures.
Our conference has its own history, though short at the moment. For the first time "RePlast" conference was held during "PackPlastic-2003" exhibition in cooperation with its organizers. The second conference organized by the magazine together with "Messe Duesseldorf" took place within the framework of 8th international specialized exhibition "Interplastica-2004" . The next, the third one, is planned to be held in December during "Interplastica-2005" .
